Warehouse Manager – Commercial Construction

$18 to $30 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a safe, clean, organized warehouse that is always positioned to support the ever changing needs of our clients and operations
Interface with Project Managers and other Management to support the projects and general handy-man work we do
Oversee the stock of general construction materials we maintain
Oversee the receipt, security and storage of various equipment and material items our clients ship to us
Work as required with other warehouse workers or Field Mechanics to load / un-load heavy items from our fleet of delivery trucks, pick up materials from suppliers, etc.

This is a hands-on, entry-level, management, salaried position.
Business hours are 8a-5p Monday through Friday, with some weekends and over-time necessary.

Previous experience with warehouse operations in a supervisory role is preferred.

The core competencies we seek include: Wood framing (residential), Steel framing (commercial), Sheetrock, Taping and spackling, Trim carpentry, Cabinet making, Cabinet installation/repair, Countertop installation, Laminate work (cabinetry), Commercial laminate work (FRP, Koroguard, Stainless Steel, etc.), Door installation/repair

Along with operating wood-working machinery, you’ll of course be able to show  maintaining one’s physically fitness and possessing good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination as well as balance are of the utmost importance. Possessing both the 30 hour and supplemental 10 OSHA cards is a requirement. If you don’t know how to go about that, contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction. The main thing is you’ll need to be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate problem solving capabilities.
